According to ESPN.com, 29 of the top 150 high school basketball recruits are heading to the ACC. Technically, it looks like Duke is the winner with 3 guys out of the top 20. Virginia Tech and Boston College both landed 4 each, while Wake, FSU, Georgia Tech and Virginia got three each. Maryland and Clemson each landed a pair, and Miami and NCSU one each. Who’s missing? UNC – ZERO. No scholarships to offer, perhaps? Virginia has two kids with famous names: Mustapha Farrakhan (Louis’ grandson) and Jeff Jones (no relation).

UNC has no incoming recruits; when high school center Kevin Love chose UCLA over North Carolina, coach Roy Williams opted to save his lone available scholarship slot for the 2008 class.
