SHOW HER THE MONEY!

Former Duke head coach Gail Goestenkors, the recently named Naismith Women's Coach of the Year, was introduced as the new women's coach at Texas on Thursday. The move came two days after Goestenkors resigned at Duke after 15 seasons with the the school and made four appearances in the Final Four since 1999. Despite turning the Blue Devils into a major power, the 44-year-old Goestenkors was unable to win a national championship while both UNC and Maryland did. That didn’t deter the Horns from shelling out one million clams a year for the next seven years. Yike!
